as per ramayana by valmiki janaki never visited janaka after her marriage- Dasaratha says that janaka and barathas uncle need not be invited and can be informed later while he proposes yuva raja pattabisheka for rama. And even in the final successful pattabisheka, janaka never participated. And when sita was banished to the forest, janaka never came to know of it though it is natural for a suspecting husband to send his wife to her fathers house.
