What is the appeal of Body of Proof?

I really couldnt find any appeal to it. Like you I agree that it just fell flat. The charatchers just seemed kind of boring and flat & the interactions between them were none to interesting. The story was just ok, not interesting like it should have been for a pilot episode. Not an episode that would draw me back in. I doubt I will continue to watch, seems just like the same old same old.
