If Gods, whom we can logically argue don't even exist, supposedly never needed a Creator,...?

...can't we simply skip a step and say that Nature, which we have always seen around us, has always existed? It makes so much more sense than to conjure up mythical beings we admittedly know nothing about, and give them super-human attributes!
