Can I get some help choosing the right crystals?

my girlfriend is into holistic healing, including crystals. I don't know which crystals she has or what minerals they contain, but I'm looking for crystals to help with mediation and chakra balancings. Anything that will ist in uplifting the spirit and mind, bringing calm and ease to one self would be very much appreciated.
